About ONcasinos.ca

Canada legalized provincial gambling in 1985, launching its first casino. Single-event sports betting was approved in June 2021. Ontario became a leader in this space, with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission (AGCO) regulating sports betting and overseeing the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) to ensure fairness and safety. The OLG had previously provided lottery tickets, jackpot draws, bingo, poker, and table games. In April 2022, Ontario started licensing private casinos and online gaming, including casinos online Ontario. The AGCO created iGaming Ontario (iGO) to manage this market, initially including 18 operators and 31 gaming websites.
