About One Bike Tanzania

At One Bike, our mission is to improve the lives of people in our community and to promote responsible tourism through a bicycle lifestyle. We run a unique Bike & Repair shop in Moshi, Tanzania. Besides that, we offer cultural-adventure cycling tours around the Kilimanjaro region as well as local tours around the city of Moshi. With that, not only do we generate income to support our environmental and social impact projects, but we also employ and empower local guides and we encourage foreign travellers to give back to the local communities. We are currently making an environmental and social impact with our four main projects: - One Bike Re-Cycling Tour - a collective activity for environmental awareness in which we clean the streets of Moshi by bike. - One Bike Workshop - a weekly training program in which we teach local youth everything about bike repair and mechanics. - One Bike Nomad - a free bike repair and maintenance service offered to people living in local villages in the Moshi district. - One Bike Mobility - a yearly event in which we, through partners, collaborations and our Tour de Kili event, donate bicycles to the local community. This improves the mobility of students living far away from schools, people needing to go to hospitals far away, etc. For more information about our projects, cycling tours and other initiatives, please visit our website (www.onebiketz.com) or contact us as [email protected].
