About One Planet Agency

For too long, Africa has been spoken about, not with, in the global climate discourse. At major climate conferences and events, African journalists are often missing, and the continent’s climate realities are told through outside voices. This distorts policy, funding, and public understanding. OnePlanetAgency.com builds African climate journalism and shares it with newsrooms worldwide, while also bringing global climate reporting back to African audiences. We create a two way flow of information so Africa is both heard and fully informed. What we do Produce — Commission and support African journalists to report climate stories from the ground. Strengthen — Train, mentor, and resource local reporters and newsrooms. Distribute — Deliver African climate stories to global media, policymakers, and platforms. Who we are We are journalists, storytellers, and climate advocates committed to sharing powerful narratives on environmental change, sustainability, and climate justice.
