About opdo

opdo is the AI co-pilot for optical design, simulation, and fabrication. We empower engineers to create high-performance, manufacturable optical systems from a simple prompt—in minutes. Our platform combines generative AI with industry-standard simulation tools, fabrication-aware optimization, and direct CAD integrations. Engineers describe their optical intent in natural language—opdo’s AI agents simulate, refine, and output designs ready for production. We integrate directly with advanced manufacturing workflows, starting with volumetric 3D lens printing and expanding to catalog optics, injection molding, grinding/polishing, and more. From design to physical lens, opdo closes the loop. Founded by deep-tech veterans from 3YOURMIND and xolo, opdo is accelerating how the world builds with light.
