Opera Shalem jobs and careers

About Opera Shalem

Opera Shalem is Jerusalem-based opera company, currently in its funding phase. Opera Shalem is Boldly Jewish. Artist-led. Net-zero. As an ensemble and repertoire opera house, we're creating sustainable artistic careers for local talent and providing olim (immigrants) with a professional home where they can continue pursuing their operatic passion. Our workspace is fueled by genuine kindness, reflecting deep Jewish values while celebrating diverse voices. Our mission extends beyond performance—we aim to integrate opera into Israel's mainstream cultural landscape through excellence in production and community engagement. As the world's first opera company designed with a net-zero model and fully digital infrastructure, we're reshaping the operatic world through a Jewish lens. Join us as we create a new home for opera—one that bridges classical tradition with contemporary Israeli society, elevates and inspires, and is rooted in the ancient, thriving soul of Jerusalem.
