About Optical Near ME

Optical Near ME is the first online community in the world designed to allow total communities an opportunity to connect with their local, privately owned optical shops. There is nothing more important than supporting your local businesses and this is especially true for optical shops and optometry practices. Independent optical shops choose top quality frames that are made from the best materials and ethically manufactured. They choose lenses that are constantly checked under the strictest of quality control. They invest in their communities and always keep their education up to date with the latest trends and technologies. Independent optical shops feature professional opticians. These are opticians that are licensed and educated under a maintained standard which ensures your expert advice is valid. Independent optometry practices are doctors that are non-biased and not controlled by corporations that focus on marketing their corporate products and programs. Independent optometrists make decisions for their business based on what is best for their patients, not based on what is best for the shareholders of their partners. You owe it to yourself to ask yourself, are my lenses and frames ethically manufactured, and does my optometrist or optician spend the time to invest in maintaining an operating model that allows them to deliver the best possible quality of vision and an outstanding experience. If you are an independent optician or optometrist we welcome you to our community and we thank you for your courage and tenacity to survive and thrive and we look forward to supporting you as you grow!
