Oregon Environmental Council brings Oregonians together to protect the water, air, and land we all share and love. We advocate for impactful, lasting solutions that get at the source of Oregon’s environmental problems and have real benefits for people’s health and quality of life. Founded in 1968 by concerned Oregonians across the state, Oregon Environmental Council is a membership-based, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization with a long record of success and a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. Oregon Environmental Council works to create innovative change on three levels: we help individuals live green; we help businesses, farmers and health providers thrive with sustainable practices; and we help elected officials create practical policy.
