About Org. Radio Juntanza

Radio Juntanza is an organization founded and run by women from the Global South that promotes initiatives for resistance, recognition, care, and conservation of territories and ecosystems from an ecofeminist perspective. We are a platform for biocultural research and creation that uses listening as a political stance and tool for emancipation, fostering the construction of social fabric, environmental regeneration, and community dialogue without hierarchies. We work to generate, support, and raise awareness of processes of territorial resistance in Colombia and other territories of the Global South, confronting environmental degradation, structural oppression, extractivism, and violence through non-oppressive scientific, artistic, and collective practices. Our work is based on non-essentialist ecofeminisms, deep listening, and the construction of autonomous narratives, connecting diverse agents and initiatives in a network to respond to the territorial and environmental challenges of our times.
