About Origin Lab

Origin Lab is a platform and technology company that captures, creates, and delivers premium, rights-cleared multimodal content for AI training. Our catalogs span video game play capture, 3D environments, TV/Film, and animation, each AI-enriched with queryable metadata, structured annotations, and clear licensing. Every asset is rights-cleared and never scraped. We also build custom datasets to spec. As a research company, we are exploring generative world-building pipelines to synthesize the highest-resolution, highest-fidelity 3D environments that simulate scenes from our observable world. We are also developing synthetic human players to autonomously capture and QA training content at scale, improving dataset efficiency and reducing cost. If you are interested in joining our team, or are an AI team or researcher looking for licensed content and data for spatial reasoning, world simulation, or multimodal generation, reach out. Origin Lab is based in California, founded by a team from Twitch, Amazon, AI, and the video game industry. Our vision: be the data economy for Artificial World Intelligence, where rights holders share in the upside and AI systems learn from better data with less waste.
