About Orpheus Pagan Chamber Choir
Orpheus Pagan Chamber Choir is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded in 2009 to celebrate Earth-based spiritual traditions. Its first performance, with 15 members, was at the 2010 Beltane Festival in Florence, CO, marking Orpheus Pagan Chamber Choir as the first ever performing Pagan choir. The first season featured a sold-out 12th Night Yule Concert and Viking Feast. Subsequent seasons were expanded with the Rite of Remembrance, Friends and Family Comcerts, and an annual spring concert. Membership in the choir consists of both Pagan and Pagan-friendly singers. Orpheus members are diverse and come from all walks of life, with a wide range of ages. A milestone was reached in 2023 when choir membership reached 40 members. In 2024, Orpheus was invited to perform at New York City’s Carnegie Hall under the aegis of MidAmerixa productions, set to perform in 2027.
