About Orthodox Volunteer Corps (OVC)

OVC is a young adult ministry of the Orthodox Christian Church. Our mission is to develop and equip young adults to lead lives of faithful service for the Church and the world. We achieve our mission by providing four integrated opportunities in a 10-month residential program: Immersive service with our most vulnerable neighbors, formation in faith and leadership, cultivation of community, and engagement in the Church. We launched our first cohort in Pittsburgh with 6 young adults from across the country in fall 2022. We are now running our second cohort and plan to expand our program to Boston in fall 2024.
