🌟 Welcome to the Oslo Center for Clinical Heart Research LinkedIn Group! 🌟 🌐About Us: We're a part of the Department of Cardiology at Oslo University Hospital Ullevål, and has several research groups. 🎯Our Goal: We're dedicated to deepening our understanding of prevalent heart conditions such as coronary artery disease/acute myocardial infarction, atrial fibrillation, heart failure, and valvular disease, alongside their associated comorbidities like diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. 🔬Research Focus: Our main objective is to perform researcher-initiated clinical studies that address unresolved questions in cardiovascular diseases. We have a strong focus on collaboration with other research groups in Norway. For quite a few of our projects, we serve as the main study center, but with patient inclusion taking place also at other sites/hospitals. We also take part in many multinational clinical drug trials. 📊Our Strategy: Our research strategy and plan of action are composed of four main goals: i) To conduct robust clinical research in close proximity to patients. ii) To establish strong national and international research networks. iii) To ensure career development and provide systematic academic training. iv) To continuously work towards sustaining a thriving research structure and culture.
