Ostificio Prealpino nasce a Bergamo nel 1938 con le magnifiche Prealpi Orobie a fare da cornice. Franco Minetti, il fondatore, si dedica fin da subito anche alla produzione dolciaria, diventando presto riferimento di qualità ed eccellenza per i maestri gelatieri. Il figlio Arnaldo assume la guida dell’azienda nel 1983 e inizia a guardare anche ai mercati esteri innescando una vera innovazione in tutti i processi produttivi. Alla guida dell’azienda oggi c’è la terza generazione a cui è stato passato il testimone.
