About Ottawa Grassroots Festival

The Ottawa Grassroots Festival is a unique four-day multi-disciplinary community-focused arts event that is run by mostly volunteers. The festival's core values are inclusion and participation. Performers are encouraged to collaborate and share their artistry with others. OGF enables artists to network, forge new friendships with fellow artists, encourages them in a supportive environment to hone their talent and increases their confidence when performing in front of an audience. It is an opportunity for emerging artists to work with seasoned professionals. A priority is placed on making the event accessible, family-friendly, participatory and culturally diverse. All daytime activities are free of charge to attend, with ticketed concerts presented in the evenings.
