About Our Sansar

At Our Sansar we’re on a mission to assist survivors of gender-based violence, homeless children, child labourers, and to fight inequalities that Dalit (known as 'untouchable') communities face in areas of Nepal where others won’t go. We were established in 2009 to help the hundreds of children, primarily boys aged between 3 and 16, who live on the street in the regions of Nepal bordering India, after being abandoned due to poverty and abuse. We have now expanded our operations to also assist more children who have experienced neglect, abuse, child labour and girls who are survivors of trafficking, rape, violence and other trauma. Our main current projects include: - Street Children Programme - EmpowerHER: Rights, Protection and Hope - End to Child Labour Programme - EmpowerHER Ventures
