About Outdoor Adventure Training

At OAT, we deliver remote, sport-specific, science-based fitness training designed to enhance performance, reduce injury risk, and support longevity in the outdoors. We’re passionate about helping hikers, skiers, backpackers, and mountaineers unlock their full potential and get the most out of every adventure. With over a decade of experience as a Certified Personal Trainer and professional mountain guide on Mount Shasta, Mikey Bell founded Outdoor Adventure Training after seeing countless climbers fall short of their summit goals—not from lack of will, but from lack of preparation. OAT was created to bridge the gap between fitness and the outdoors. What began as a way to help more people reach the summit has grown into a global platform and supportive community of people training for their next adventure. Our programs are built on the NASM-endorsed OAT Training Pyramid and 10 Pillars of Training, focusing on strength, endurance, mobility, and injury prevention. Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or just getting started, OAT provides a clear, structured roadmap to readiness for your pursuits. Backed by a team of certified personal trainers, guides, and lifelong outdoor athletes, our programs are delivered remotely through the OAT Fit App—so you can train for adventure, wherever you are.
