Outward Bound Vietnam is registered by the Department of Education and Training in each province that it operates. It has established its first outdoor learning centre near Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh Province, which includes residential dormitories for 100 students, classrooms and a rock wall and high ropes course built to international standards. The second area of operations is in Halong and can cater to 56 students at a time on expeditions which include kayaking, trekking, caving and abseiling. Outward Bound Vietnam is a member of Outward Bound International, the largest global outdoor education provider. About 200,000 people complete a course around the globe each year.
