About Ovelle

Ovelle is revolutionizing fertility treatment through human in vitro oogenesis—producing eggs from somatic cells. Our approach uses directed differentiation of human iPSCs to ovarian cell types (including granulosa cells and meiotic germ cells) by manipulating expression of TFs and RNA-binding proteins. We are the first company to be develop technology to induce meiosis in human iPSCs. By innovating egg production, we aim to make fertility treatments more accessible and affordable. If we are successful, it will mark a paradigm shift in treatments for infertility, and offer a new path to parenthood for millions of people around the world.
