About Oxford University German Society

For more than 100 years, the Oxford University German Society has been the central hub for all things German in the University. We seek to provide a home away from home for all students from German-speaking countries. What is more, we provide exciting opportunities for all members of the University interested in learning German or brushing up their language skills. In addition to social and cultural events, we host talks with high-profile speakers and offer exclusive networking and careers events with our sponsors. Even beyond Oxford, we take our members on trips to the beautiful surroundings and cooperate with our partners societies in London and Cambridge.
