Oxitec is a team of passionate individuals from 15 countries improving lives and livelihoods by developing the world's first safe, self-limiting technology to control pests that transmit diseases, destroy crops and harm livestock. Our technology platform allows us to build safe, non-toxic, species-specific, and self-limiting control solutions to a range of damaging insects. We work in close partnerships with governments, foundations, companies and communities around the world and have demonstrated excellence in targeted insect suppression, biosafety, environmental sustainability, regulatory approvals, public acceptance, and scalability.
