About OzoneBio

OzoneBio develops bio-based adipic acid, a key building block for Nylon 66, using renewable wood-waste feedstocks. Nylon 66 is widely used in performance apparel, fashion, and automotive components, yet today it relies on petrochemical adipic acid, a major industrial source of nitrous oxide emissions. Our process uses wood-derived renewable intermediates that we convert into polymer-grade adipic acid with a significantly lower carbon footprint. The result is drop-in compatibility for Nylon 66, delivering the same strength, durability, and versatility while reducing dependence on petroleum and supporting circular forestry practices.
