About Pangaea Innovations

The growing challenges our global society faces requires us to think outside the box in order to find the solutions that will enable us to move forward in a sustainable way. These challenges are not just environmental, but also related to the increasingly massive volumes and complexity of data we are collecting in our attempts to understand and mitigate the societal effects of climate change. We cannot solve these environmental challenges without first solving the problem of the "Data Deluge" as we move beyond the "Big Data Era" and into the "Huge Data Era". At Pangaea Innovations our philosophy is to develop and leverage novel data-driven technologies to provide cost-effective, value-added data processing, analysis and management solutions. We believe the value in data is not in what it cost to acquire but what you can do with it. Our vision is to provide scaleable data-driven solutions that enable better, faster more comprehensive decisions to be made by our clients; without them needing to be domain experts themselves. Indeed we strive to democratise environmental data and information products by developing data-driven software solutions that remove the requirement of our clients to engage domain experts in order to reliably interpret their data.
