About PARI - People Against Rapes in India

People Against Rapes in India (PARI) is a youth-led Not-for-Profit in India, advocating for the rights of rape victims in India. Our core areas of work include advocating against sexual violence, providing prevention mechanisms for rape and supporting rape survivors with psychosocial support. We also extensively provide a support structure to rape survivors for judicial procedures and their rehabilitation. Sensitizing communities on the need to end rape and victim blaming is crucial to reduce the stigmatization around the subject of rape as well as rape survivors (Who often can’t speak about their ordeal). To achieve this, PARI undertakes extensive awareness building initiatives at the grass-root level.
