About Park Lodge Project
The history of Park Lodge – We have been supporting young people since 1968. We were set up by a young woman, who volunteered on the Samaritans helpline, she was troubled by the young people leaving care at just sixteen with minimum support. She pulled together a team with passion, skills, connections and a determination to help. In 1972 they secure a run-down house and turned it into a temporary home for care leavers, young people discharged from hospital, those made homeless by family breakdown, ex-offenders and young mums. But it was not enough, more was needed. Today Park Lodge Project provide 24/7 services for 92 homeless young people. We take our responsibilities seriously and meet the expectations set by Ofsted by creating a nurturing, well-managed, and outcome-focused environment. Our commitment to quality assurance ensures that we are always improving, always listening, and always working to offer the best possible support to the young people who live in our accommodation.
