About Patient Voice Initiative
The Patient Voice Initiative is a patient organisation that works to ensure patients are seen, heard and valued in decision-making, especially in health technology assessment. CONNECTING PATIENTS TO RESOURCES Our Patient Voice Hub and online resources equip patients, carers and their organisations and groups to use their patient knowledge to inform assessments about funding health interventions (health technology assessment). LEARNING TOGETHER Benefitting from a strengths-based approach, our support promotes shared learning growing patient and carer knowledge of Australia’s health technology assessment processes and expanding our knowledge of the communities’ needs and perspectives to inform our work. THOUGHT-LEADERS ON HTA Improving health technology assessment (HTA) for and with patients requires thought leadership so we offer opportunities for multi-stakeholder dialogue to focus on this critical topic and apply shared problem-solving.
