Would you like to make your contribution to improve patient safety across all forms of healthcare in Ireland? Join Patients for Patient Safety (PFPS), a World Health Organisation initiative to improve patient safety. Members have experience of healthcare as patients and we work in collaboration with the health service as patient representatives to improve patient safety. The only qualification is that you have been a patient or a carer! Email [email protected] for more information on how you can provide a strong voice to improve safety in healthcare in Ireland. Our goals are to: * Facilitate efforts to engage and empower patients, families and communities to play an active role in their own care; * Bring the voices of patients and people to the forefront of health care; * Create an enabling environment for partnerships between patients, families, communities and health professionals.
