Pattern is an Embedded Insurance company that empowers any product or service provider to seamlessly integrate innovative protection products such as insurance, guarantee and service, into their customer proposition as a complementary add-on to their core offering. Every online transaction has associated risks for consumers - the weather might be bad during a camping trip, a flight may be cancelled or a vacation rental host may cancel the booking. We help businesses address these consumer concerns with personalized protection products. But unlike traditional insurance, these are much closer to the typical online consumer experience - simple, automated and hassle-free. Many of our protections are built on an innovative insurance product, which provides direct pre-agreed payment if a verifiable event occurs, without needing to prove any loss or file a claim. Via the merger with Setoo, Pattern is live in EMEA and its solution is rolling out in the US now.
