About PBA Applied Ecology Ltd

PBA Applied Ecology was established in 2010 and has grown to become one of the UK’s most respected specialist ecology practices. We provide clients with efficient, well-targeted, and technically competent services that benefit sustainable development projects and the conservation management of natural habitats, native species and ecosystem function. Working throughout the UK from our base in the Yorkshire Dales we offer a wide range of services with particular strengths across terrestrial and aquatic ecology. We are especially experienced in working on challenging infrastructure projects that are located at protected or sensitive locations. Drawing upon a wealth of experience, we take an evidence-based approach and provide practical and sustainable solutions for our clients. “PBA worked well in conjunction with the main contractor, providing critical environmental support for a challenging scheme in an environmentally sensitive area. The support that they provided ensured that the scheme was sound environmentally and helped deliver the scheme 2 years in advance.“ UU Environmental Planner
