About PCs for Kids - Geelong volunteers giving back to Geelong community

PCs for Kids is a self-funded, registered charity run entirely by volunteers and located in North Geelong, Victoria, Australia. We accept donations of computers, associated equipment and anything destined for eWaste. The work that we do helps many children and families by: - providing computers free of charge to eligible children and youth under 18 - donating money to local schools to assist in providing extra activities. Donations of computers and associated equipment are accepted from businesses, schools, and the general public. We have a van and pick-up in Geelong and surrounding areas. We also pick-up from businesses and schools in Melbourne (within 80km from our base). We have a small shop where we sell second-hand computers. laptops, and various computer components and accessories at very reasonable prices. We also offer computer and laptop repairs at an affordable price. Not all computers or equipment are suitable for refurbishment. What isn't suitable is deconstructed and recycled as e-waste - very little needs to go to landfill.
