About PEaCH Project

=== Please visit Bilingual Family for up to date information === PEaCH - for bilingual children was an Erasmus+ funded project which ran 2019-2021 and offered free guidance on how to support, maintain and develop a child's multilingual skills up to the age of 12. Two guides: "How to raise a bilingual child" for parents (available in English, French, German, Italian, Romanian, and Spanish) and "How to support multilingual children'' aimed at educators (available in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish) were published. To go with the parents’ guide PEaCH created five videos and other supporting materials, among them, a searchable collection of languages resources in all 24 EU languages. The programme was supported by a network of PEaCH Ambassador volunteers who shared the project's positive message about bilingualism. The charity Bilingual Family (reg in Scotland, SC053564) is the follow-up of PEaCH, and was founded in 2024 by one of the PEaCH project partners, Rita Rosenback, and some of the PEaCH Ambassadors. Bilingual Family expands its remit to all children and young people up to 18 years of age, independent of their linguistic or cultural background, or where in the world they live. The guides and resources created by PEaCH will soon be available on the Bilingual Family website, www.bilingualfamily.org. Bilingual Family is the global version of PEaCH!
