About Peak NDT Ltd.

Peak NDT is a high end technology company specialising in the development, manufacture and support of multichannel and phased array ultrasound controllers for use in the Non-Destructive Testing industries. With its particular expertise in ultrasonics, Peak also provides consultancy services, including feasibility studies, technique development and ultrasonic inspection modelling. We are a team of qualified engineers and scientists, with in-house skills from electronics design (both analogue and digital), embedded software, test and calibration through to ultrasonic inspection applications. Our electronics development is driven by needs of the end-user and if it doesn’t do quite what the user wants it to do then we are flexible enough to implement what is needed where at all possible, generally at no cost. The phased array MicroPulse was conceived in 2003 when Peak applied for and was awarded Smart funding for the development. Early on (2004), it became apparent that the MicroPulse 5PA was not only suited to what we will call ‘conventional’ phased array but also, because of the true parallel architecture, to Full Matrix Capture. MicroPulse is unique in that the user can communicate directly to the instrument which can easily provide elemental signals prior to summation. In 2011, for its continued development and innovation of its MicroPulse 5 series of instruments, Peak was awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, category Innovation, an accolade of which Peak NDT is extremely proud. In terms of market sector, Peak supplies a worldwide market for a variety of industries. These include: •power generation, •nuclear (both civil and military), •aerospace, •petrochemical, •offshore, •manufacturing •general engineering. #Innovation #NonDestructiveTesting #NDT #Ultrasonic #PhasedArray #Conventional #FullMatrixCapture
