About Pearson AI Consulting

AI Consultancy for Schools is led by Daniel Pearson, supporting independent schools to adopt artificial intelligence in a way that is practical, ethical, and genuinely useful. This work is grounded in real school leadership and classroom experience. Alongside consultancy projects, Daniel serves as Head of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation at a leading UK independent school, so recommendations are shaped by the realities of safeguarding, GDPR, workload pressures, assessment integrity, and what staff will actually use day to day. The focus is simple: reduce friction, save time, build staff confidence, and implement AI with clear boundaries and strong governance. Support typically includes: • AI strategy and roadmap development aligned to school culture, risk appetite, and priorities • Staff CPD and inset training, tailored to departments and roles • On-site AI and admin workflow audits to identify where time is lost and where automation can help • Design of bespoke school AI systems, including controlled staff tools, policy-aware assistants, and safe student access models • Guidance on assessment integrity, malpractice risk, and practical policy that staff and students can follow • Ongoing advisory support to senior leadership and operational teams, from quick wins to longer-term transformation The approach is deliberately tool-agnostic. Advice is driven by educational and institutional fit rather than vendor preference. Where custom solutions are appropriate, they are designed around security, usability, and adoption, not novelty. Daniel works with heads, deputies, directors of teaching and learning, operations teams, and boards who want clarity, credibility, and measurable impact without the hype. If you want AI in your school to move beyond experimentation and become a safe, well-led, high-impact capability, this is the work.
