The Peel Council on Aging is a collaborative initiative focused on driving collective impact and promoting healthy aging in Peel Region. Additionally, we aim to: -Raise awareness about the importance of building connected and caring communities that support older adults. -Provide leadership, foster community connections, and offer support to organizations serving seniors. -Advocate for policy development and influence decision-makers to prioritize healthy aging initiatives. -Support equity-seeking groups in accessing resources and services related to healthy aging. Ultimately, the Peel Council on Aging is committed to advancing positive aging by promoting the health, well-being, and social participation of older adults in Peel Region, while ensuring that their voices are heard and included in all aspects of our work.
