About Pelagos VR

Pelagos VR is Richmond’s premier destination for immersive virtual reality experiences, with a strong focus on private company events, team building, and corporate outings. We specialize in creating engaging, high-energy experiences that bring teams together in a way that feels natural, interactive, and memorable. Whether you’re planning a team-building event, department outing, client appreciation event, or company celebration, Pelagos offers a unique alternative to traditional venues. Our private events combine immersive VR gameplay with time to connect, relax, and celebrate. Guests rotate through a variety of experiences—including story-driven Virtual Escape Rooms, physically immersive High Action Arena adventures, and full-body free-roam gameplay—each designed to encourage collaboration, communication, and shared success. Located at Regency Square Mall in Richmond, Virginia, Pelagos VR is a family-owned business operated by Joan and Gene Burke. Alongside their team, they are hands-on in every event, ensuring a seamless, welcoming experience from start to finish. In addition to VR, we offer food and beverage options, making it easy to host a complete event in one place. While we’re best known for company events, Pelagos also welcomes social groups, celebrations, and nights out with friends looking for something different. At Pelagos VR, it’s not just about playing a game—it’s about creating an experience your team will talk about long after it’s over. Learn more: https://pelagosvr.com/
