About PEREVESLO

Pereveslo is a Calgary-based non-profit organization that empowers communities through Ukrainian music, art, and cultural education. Our mission is to preserve heritage, inspire creativity, and strengthen community connections through meaningful artistic and educational programs. We develop and deliver impactful cultural initiatives such as Pereveslo Choir, Pereveslo Kids Studio, and Pereveslo Fest — projects that nurture children’s creativity, promote cultural diversity, and bring people together through shared experiences of art and belonging. By engaging both newcomers and long-time Canadians, Pereveslo fosters inclusion, resilience, and cross-cultural understanding. Our programs create social value that extends beyond performance - cultivating pride, identity, and emotional well-being. We collaborate with sponsors, cultural institutions, educators, and community partners who believe in the power of culture to build stronger, more connected communities. Together, we can keep culture alive, empower the next generation, and inspire positive change through creativity.
