Periotherapia Inc. — Osaka University‑origin clinical‑stage biotech developing periostin‑targeting antibodies (Phase 1/2a in Japan; U.S. IND submitted) Periotherapia is a clinical‑stage biotechnology company developing antibodies that selectively target pathological periostin to remodel disease microenvironments and address stroma‑driven drug resistance and tissue fibrosis. Our approach aims to enhance drug delivery and therapeutic response by normalizing pathological stroma rather than targeting tumor cells alone. Our lead antibody program is currently in a Phase 1/2a study in Japan. We have completed PMDA‑agreed GLP safety studies, and preclinical data demonstrate robust efficacy and combination synergy with chemotherapy, ADC modalities and radiation. A U.S. IND has been submitted to enable a planned U.S. Phase 1/2a study. Parallel programs include an antibody‑drug conjugate (ADC) effort and a companion diagnostic (CDx) in preclinical development. Beyond oncology, we are advancing programs toward multiple non‑oncology indications in which pathological periostin contributes to disease biology, including cardiomyopathy/heart failure, diabetic retinopathy, renal disease, and inflammatory disorders. We believe periostin‑targeting modalities have broad potential as both standalone and combination therapies across fibrosis‑ and inflammation‑driven diseases. Backed by public grants and strategic investors and holding core IP on periostin‑targeting antibodies, Periotherapia is seeking global pharmaceutical partners for licensing and co‑development, as well as institutional and strategic investors to accelerate clinical development and broaden therapeutic impact.
