About Peter Tyson

For over 57 years Peter Tyson has been a trusted family run retailer of high quality audio and visual equipment, working with the biggest brands in the world. Now we also offer quality lifestyle solutions for the whole home with a great range of appliances. Our friendly staff share expert knowledge and experience before you buy and offer support after your purchase. Peter Tyson customers enjoy all the benefits of an online store like next-day UK delivery, competitive prices and high standards of customer care. That’s why we are a top-rated seller on Trustpilot and Amazon. Back in 1966 Peter Tyson established our first store on West Tower Street in Carlisle with loyalty, honesty and quality at its core. Today we hold to this commitment, even after expanding to a huge showroom in Carlisle and stores in Newcastle and Workington, delivering across the UK and employing over 50 people. We’ve grown and developed with the times and we’re still a family with two generations of Tyson's working in the business.
