Phi, embodies the principle of perfect proportions, also known as the golden ratio or divine proportion, a philosophy that dates back to ancient Greece. The greek sculptor Phidias, after whom the greek letter “phi” was chosen to represent the golden ratio, created the beautiful statue of Athena that was once housed in the Parthenon and is said to embody this ratio. It has been found that physical beauty that is in “phi” proportions is considered more attractive. This is why at Phi Plastic Surgery we believe that proportional is beautiful.
