About Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers - Bicol Chapter

The Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers – Bicol Chapter (PIChE Bicol) is a dynamic regional chapter of the national professional organization for chemical engineers in the Philippines. Founded to bring together engineers, practitioners, educators, and students in the Bicol Region, PIChE Bicol serves as a hub for collaboration, professional growth, and community engagement among chemical engineers and allied professionals. Our chapter has consistently taken part in the national movement to advance the field of chemical engineering — not only through technical excellence but also through leadership and public service. Over the years, PIChE Bicol has built a community grounded on volunteerism, innovation, and a shared commitment to sustainable development in the region. As we continue to grow, our focus goes beyond the traditional boundaries of engineering. We embrace the challenges of climate action, digital transformation, and industry collaboration — guided by the national institute’s mission of Engineering Sustainable Transitions Towards a Carbon-Neutral and Climate-Smart Philippines. Our initiatives range from technical seminars and professional development programs to student outreach, partnerships with local industries, and support for national conventions. With every project, we strive to strengthen the presence of chemical engineers in shaping a better, more resilient Bicolano community. PIChE Bicol remains a community built by engineers for engineers — united by purpose, driven by service, and inspired to make a lasting impact in both the profession and the society we serve.
