We are a friendly, Cambridge-based consultancy supporting biotech companies, clinical research teams and healthcare organisations to bring meaningful patient insight into the way research is designed, delivered and communicated. Health research works best when it reflects real-world experience. Yet often there isn't the time, expertise or internal resource for teams to embed patient engagement and accessible communication effectively by themselves. That’s where we help. Combining 30+ years collective experience in research, patient engagement and healthcare communication, we work alongside teams to optimise study design, strengthen patient involvement, and develop clear, user-centred research communication. Our work typically includes: • strategic advice on patient engagement and involvement in research • reviewing and improving participant information and study materials • embedding patient insight into study design and communication plans • plain-language and health-literate research communication • facilitating discussions or co-creation with patient communities where helpful • coaching and training teams to build confidence in patient engagement We work with organisations across the research ecosystem, from early-stage biotech start-ups to academic and clinical research teams preparing trials or grant applications.
