About Pholium

With over 20yrs experience in zoos and aquariums Pholium now offers captive bred exotic animals to the UK and European pet industry. We specialise in captive bred Marine fish, Dart frogs and Vampire crabs. Did you know that 90% of saltwater fish for the aquarium trade are taken from the wild? We offer aquarists and herpotologists the chance to own these spectacular animals without the fear of damaging their habitats or future. Pholium animals are ALL captive bred and do not impact wild population in any way. In fact our animals are of superior quality, health and are completely adapted to life inside an aquarium or vivarium. Every purchase stops a wild animal being taken from the wild Pholium is advancing aquaculture techniques and successfully breeding animals never achieved before in the UK.
