About Pit to Palace Initiative

We are a Kenyan non-profit equipping SMEs, youth, women, and persons with disabilities to build climate-smart enterprises and access affordable capital. Through our flagship programs - SustainSME (ESG integration and reporting), Climate Futurepreneurs (youth venture building), and County Circular Innovation Hubs (community-based circular economy training) - we strengthen business resilience and create inclusive green jobs. We work with county governments, private sector partners, and research institutions to localize climate policy and unlock catalytic investment. To date, we have supported enterprises to publish sustainability reports, win national awards, and access over US$2.5M in concessional and blended capital, while advancing practical tools for measurement, reporting, and long-term sustainability.
