Pittsburgh Quarterly is the premier magazine for editorial quality in western Pennsylvania. Since its inception in 2006, Pittsburgh Quarterly has led the magazine category of western Pennsylvania’s main competition for journalistic excellence — the Golden Quill Awards, sponsored by the Press Club of Western Pennsylvania and judged by out-of-town journalists. Pittsburgh Quarterly was founded by Douglas Heuck, a former investigative reporter and business editor at The Pittsburgh Press and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
