About Pixile Studios

Pixile was founded in 2011 by Michael Silverwood and Chris Clogg to create multiplayer games that expand the boundaries of their genres in fun and unique ways. Pixile's first game, Stratosphere, re-invented tower defense as a competitive multiplayer experience, playable 1v1 on a single iPad, like a realtime board game. The game was critically acclaimed and featured by Apple and numerous publications including G4TV, Polygon, and IGN at launch. Super Animal Royale is a top-down 2D twist on the battle royale genre, where up to 64 adorably murderous animals fight tooth, claw, and machine gun to reach the top of the food chain. It has been enjoyed by more than 13 million players worldwide since its Early Access debut in 2018 on Steam (PC/Mac) and v1.0 release on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch in 2021. The Super Animal World expansion in 2025 adds a whole new relaxing, social layer into the mix, featuring fishing, bug catching, and hamster ball racing between the fights to the death.
