About Plan Checker

PlanChecker is a neutral UK-based digital platform that connects building control professionals, construction industry specialists, and clients. It enables Building Control Bodies (local authorities and Registered Building Control Approvers) to identify professional expertise, while also allowing clients to access Registered Building Inspectors (RBIs) for independent consultancy services. PlanChecker provides a centralized, web-based marketplace that supports professional connections, collaboration, and transparency across the building control and wider construction sector. Important Note: PlanChecker does not act as a Building Control Body and does not perform restricted building control functions or activities. All statutory services remain the responsibility of qualified and appropriately appointed professionals.
