About Playhood - Family Research & Consulting

We are a multi-disciplinary team rethinking services for contemporary families. Playhood envisions future-ready early years systems with specialism in efficiently co-located services: hyper-local, relationship-rich, and flexing with the realities of work and modern family life. From the early years to the later years, we believe intergenerational harmony is possible through design. - We first came together to build a community around a progressive Montessori early years experience for children alongside collaborative professional development for parents and staff. Since 2020, we've won awards for our family club's social impact and presented our unique community case study at international conferences. - We have scaled-up commercial capabilities in business consultancy, communications and strategy, service and interior design, creative and content development by leveraging our member and staff skillsets. Our bespoke research sits at the intersection of the discourses of parenting and pedagogy for a fresh - and playful - read on trends and society. --> Get in touch if you're invested in finding out more about the network of family-forward organisations and experts curious about what's driving and disrupting the lives of those raising children today. We work with entrepreneurs and scaled enterprise, architects and designers, policymakers and educators alike to embrace the overlaps between education, work and family life and build stronger communities.
