About Plymouth Yacht Club

Plymouth Yacht Club is located in the heart of downtown of historic Plymouth, MA, and was founded in 1890. As a member-owned club, our mission is foster a community of boaters who share a passion for seamanship and our local waters. Our clubhouse is open year-round, and the waterfront operates between mid-May and early October. Mariners from around the world visit us to glimpse the Mayflower across the bay, and to learn the history of America’s first settlers and boaters. During the summer we operate a large junior sailing program open to the public, teaching over 150 children from our community essential boating and navigational skills. Some graduates have pursued racing, winning Olympic and World medals. Others buy their own boats and cruise the world. We employ over 50 staff during our summer season for our waterfront, food & beverage and sailing operations.
