PROJECT MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATES (PMA) India, is a not-for-profit, registered professional body of Project and Business Managers, with the aim of strengthening Project Management in India. PMA India, a vibrant body of Project Managers in India, is a member of the International Project Management Association (IPMA). IPMA was formed in 1965 to create a fraternal body of PM-National Associations. Our President Dr A. Sivathanu Pillai (Padma Bhushan Awardee and Fmr CEO & MD, BrahMos Aerospace), is known for his contribution to the country's cruise missile program. A distinguished scientist himself, he has worked closely with the Late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Vikram Sarabhai and Satish Dhawan in Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and was associated with the evolution of the PSLV programme. IPMA's globally recognized, 4 Level Certification scheme (4LC) is administered in India, only through the National Certification Body i.e PMA, India. PMA has an agreement with IPMA to administer and award their prestigious 4 Level certification in India which offers a full career path to project professionals. PMA, India recommends training through its accredited Trainers to deliver world-class learning sessions as per IPMA Competence Base Line.
