About Polite Society

Polite Society serves as the retail division of Moss River, with stores in Sydney, Melbourne, and an online presence. Moss River, established in 1978, emerged as a luxury homewares brand, dedicated to providing superior bed linen, towels, and accessories to discerning customers who value the finer elements of home textiles. Today, we cater to the homeware needs of multiple generations within families, as well as those who simply appreciate high-quality homewares. Our collections are crafted with three core principles: natural fibers, meticulous attention to detail, and enduring value. Designed and developed in our Sydney studio, our collections are meticulously crafted by esteemed producers in Italy, Portugal, and Spain. Our Superfine collections, distinguished by their hand-cut finish, are crafted from 100% Egyptian Cotton fabrics woven exclusively for us in Italy. This dedication ensures the highest standard of craftsmanship, setting us apart from others in the industry. Moss River remains at the forefront of innovation, continually introducing new print designs and evolving with the latest fashion trends in jacquards and sateens. Our timeless classic collections are ageless, ensuring they never go out of style. Whether you're a new customer or a longstanding one, we extend a warm welcome and assure you of exceptional quality and service within the realm of home textiles. We are honoured to count top-level clients, including Hollywood celebrities, among our esteemed clientele, reaffirming our commitment to excellence in every aspect of our offerings. This is who we are, and this is what we do.
