About PONY BOX DANCE THEATRE

Founded in 2012, Pony Box Dance Theatre (PBDT) is a bi-coastal nonprofit arts organization whose mission is to share the joy and healing power of dance with everyone. Led by visionary Artistic Director Jamie Carabetta, the organization has two main aspects: a professional, cutting-edge contemporary dance company comprised of all male-identifying individuals, and educational outreach programming (Dance for Life and Best Foot Forward), reaching nearly 3000 youth and women in the NYC and Long Beach area annually. Pony Box performances are recognized for their physically powerful and visually compelling aesthetic, as well as their playful inventiveness and soul.
